Administration

Principal- Sandy Elia
I’m excited to welcome back students and staff for the 2025–2026 school year!
Since joining Sealston Elementary in 2022, the warmth of this community has made me feel right at home. With deep roots in King George County as both an educator and community member, I am dedicated to ensuring every child receives an excellent education in a safe and supportive environment where they feel valued.
I earned my degree in History from George Mason University and completed my Master’s in Secondary Social Science Education. I spent sixteen years teaching social studies at King George High School, during which I earned National Board Certification and an Administration & Supervision endorsement. In 2018, I transitioned to elementary administration as the Assistant Principal at Potomac Elementary School.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating a secure environment where every student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. I look forward to another wonderful year together!

Assistant Principal- Tiffany Frazier
Welcome all our Roaring Wildcats to the 2025-2026 school year! I am so excited to start my second year as an Assistant Principal at Sealston and am looking forward to supporting the students, teachers, and families to make it the best year yet!
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. I have taught in a variety of districts, as well as internationally, and had many different experiences that shape the educator I am today. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership while my husband (who has served in the US Navy) and I were stationed in Nebraska at Doane University. Before serving in a leadership role in King George County, I was an Assistant Principal for 5 years in Stafford County Schools. I currently reside in Spotsylvania County with my two boys, husband, and dog.
My passion for student growth helps fuel my daily work and I strive to create an inclusive environment to meet the needs of all our learners. My goal is to lead all students and families on the path toward growth, achievement, and success in life.
I’m looking forward to building strong relationships and school community. It’s going to be a fantastic year!

Assistant Principal- Monica Yawberg
     Hello Wildcat Families,
My name is Monica Yawberg, and this is my second year as an Assistant Principal at Sealtson Elementary. I grew up in King George County, and I’m grateful to serve the students in the same community that raised me.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in music from Mary Washington College. In 2007, I earned my Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington. I taught elementary school for most of my 18-year career in both Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties, and moved into administration in 2023 after earning my Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership from Longwood University. I currently reside in Spotsylvania County with my husband and two teenage children. In my spare time, I love to read and snuggle with my puppies, Milo and Winston.
It is my core belief that all students can achieve excellence. I look forward to continuing to build relationships with our Sealston Wildcats and their families and watching our students learn and grow!
